Rameshwaram has always been go to place for me. The cool air, pure and clean water, the boats, endless views and Pamban Bridge itself. The place is located around three and hours away from the temple city Madurai.

If you are traveling by BUS, you can take a bus to Rameshwaram from Madurai. The frequency of the bus is fifteen minutes.
If you wish to travel by TRAIN, the answer is Madurai as well. Since it is the major junction for down south, flexibility of transport is more in this region.
By PLANE, you can land in Madurai Airport and can either hire a cab or select between bus or train.
